Completing the UNSW Masters programme has untapped endless opportunities in my working career, not only with Xstrata but more recently with my new appointment at Coffey Mining in Townsville.

Had I not completed the degree, my career choices would have certainly been limited.

The courses offered in the Masters degree at UNSW prepared me for the business aspects of mining. The teachings were invaluable to my current appointment at Coffey’s where a huge part of my role will involve business development. I certainly wouldn’t have achieved the goals that I have to date without completing the Masters - I’d recommend it to anyone in the industry.
