Student Field Excursions

 

Field excursions form an important component of the Mining Engineering Program. They provide a means of demonstrating the theories, principles, concepts and practices discussed in the formal lecture component of courses in the program.

The excursions together with laboratory exercises, field exercises and periods of Industrial Training enhance student's knowledge and practical understanding of mining engineering.

The following list includes some recent student excursions.
